Alright, Domonique thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
My mom wash machine machine stopped working. She called and said can you wash and fold my laundry. Of course me being the amazing daughter I am I picked up my mom laundry and wash and folded. Immediately Leslie’s Laundry was created with intentions of generational wealth for my 9 yea4 old daughter.
Domonique , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Leslie’s laundy is a mobile laundry and dry cleaning service for residential and commercial clients. We are a premier luxury experience located in Charlotte, NC. We offer towel and apron rental along with subscription based. Our most recent contract is the PGA Chamionship with is mounmental for our company.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
During COVID we had to pivot by purchasing laundry lockers and placing in shopping malls to allow customers public access to have laundry cleaned. Since everything has went back to normal, we have placed our lockers in luxury apartment buildings.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media is pival if you use correctly. I would post twice a day on social media platforms to gain traction to our website. We would receive at least one cstomer from socal media everyday.
