BrayAngel Organization, LLC mean so much to me. It stemmed from me losing my first born son and me just wanting every grieving parent to know they are not alone. Then I wanted justice for many kids who deaths go unnoticed. Next thing you know I’m feeding the homeless, meeting with young girls, chillin with the children at the children hospitals, doing Christmas drives, and back to school drives. I suffered another loss and that was myself. So BrayAngel was pushed to the back burner. Yeah although I still donated and visited hospitals I knew this organization was so much bigger than me. So I vowed to me and my son Braylin that I can’t let this die!
So 2023 BrayAngel will make its come back stronger and better than ever. You may not see it broadcasted on social media always because when it comes to this and my passion of helping I like to be anonymous because it’s not for me nor recognition.
I chose to Turn My Pain into Passion and assist others along the way.

4 main events we have yearly
-Back to School Drive (August)
-Toy & Coat Drive (December)
-Hygiene & Food drive for the homeless (November)
– BrayAngel’s Survivors Walk (in honor of our children we loss). (October)
Other projects that I am planning out is a 2 weeks program/camp for Grief and Loss camp to assist children mentally and emotionally losing a sibling and or parent.
Another project I am planning is to be able to assist family with resources to get life insurance policies and resources to have about funds to bury their child.
Lastly planning a mentoring program for our youth in the community for them to be able to use volunteer hours to graduate.
BrayAngel Organization also partners with Kylah K’s Beauty & Cosmetics for special occasions for Mommy Makeovers which will Launch 2023 to give 2 mothers a full day of self-care. I also am the owner of Kylah K’s Beauty & Cosmetics because I am in it for the people and my passion to assist individuals to feel their very best.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lesions I had to unlearn was your supporters isn’t always your friends nor family. Instead it’s people you have never met. Since BrayAngel is a non-profit I do accept donations and I’m occasions fund my own events. I noticed that a lot of my biggest donations came from other organizations that I have never heard of or met personally, but for that it makes me keep going and know I am making a difference.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If I could go back I would definitely still be in the Social Work Field, but being an owner of a non-profit I could only wish the circumstances could be different because I would rather have my son and watch him grow.
Helping others is in my blood. I love it!
