We were lucky to catch up with Dominique Armstrong recently and have shared our conversation below.

Dominique, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?

Meet Jesse, Subrina, and little baby Bubba. A vegan family that is passionate about using products that are clean and chemical free. Subrina is so dedicated, she makes her own laundry detergent and other cleaning products from scratch to ensure quality for her family. I have used some, and it’s amazing!

We met the family at a San Diego vegan pop up. After sampling products at the Juci Roots booth, they took the Multi Use Conditioner, Thick & Healing body butter, and some shampoo and body soap bars home with them to use and share.

Subrina had rashes on her scalp that were inflamed and irritated. She and the family had fried their hair using over the counter store bought brands. Jesse wanted to try Juci Roots on his long hair and big bushy beard. After using what was on the shelves, he was ready for an alternative. Baby Bubba was in need of plant based products that were safe and non-toxic for the little ones. They took their products home to test them out.

After using Juci Roots consistently, Subrina was able to save her hair, scalp, and skin at home! She used the soaps and Thick & Healing body butter on her scalp to soothe the rashes, and moisturized her dry skin as well. Then Subrina would followed up with the Multi Use Conditioner on her hair strands to soften them and tame the frizz.

Jesse was able to obtain soft, shiny curls on his hair and beard using the soaps and Multi Use Conditioner. Just a tad after a shower would do the trick.

Baby Bubba likes to ask mommy for his polka dots of the Thick & Healing body butter! It leaves him soft and relaxed.

The change in this family has been night and day. They have proved that vegan or health conscious families do have an alternative that they can turn to that is safe and effective. Juci Roots was a wonderful accident! All products are created by my husband, Darnell. I was losing my hair and had terrible skin. He researched and formulated these all natural recipes to help me. We had no intention of going into business with it. After my close friends, who knew my struggle personally, saw my transformation, they wanted to try it too.

For our clients, we have been able to help them attain healthy hair and skin at home, using minimal time and techniques.

By using our products, you should be able to reduce hair breakage, shedding, thinning, and damage using our Multi Use Conditioner and Shampoo & Body Bars. Our body butters should help reduce inflammation, relieve dry skin, and hold moisture that lasts all day long. We want to provide products that actually work!

Our greatest achievements are our customers. Seeing them regain confidence and hearing their success stories keep us going!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Results. That’s it! Our focus is on our clients. What can we do to help them achieve their goal?

Customer feedback has been our greatest ally. Hearing their struggles and offering the solution has helped us get to where we are.

Those who use Juci Roots have become close friends. We express our gratitude when they return to tell us how they were able to do what was needed using our products. Most messages we recieve are referrals. We are forever grateful to our clients for spreading the word, and advocating for us.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

After using Juci Roots for myself, and sharing with my friends, we decided to try our luck and go into business. I was so nervous! What if no one wanted what we have to offer? I was afraid, but determined.

We set off to the farmers market, popped up our tent, table, and sign, and said a prayer. My husband and I hoped to bring value to the community.

Within minutes of opening, we decided to offer samples. It was a hit! We were able to demonstrate on the spot what Juci Roots could do. Hair was softer on contact, dry skin was moisturized within seconds.

I felt relieved. We were able to successfully duplicate what we were experiencing on potential clients. I learned what we were missing that day as well, business cards, a credit card reader, a website, ect. It was our first Rodeo to many more, and we learned a lot along the way.
