Dominik , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

My debu studio album, “Chapters” coming out this July, is the most meaningful project I’ve ever worked on. The album really captures different chapters and topics from my life in my early to mid twenties. Chapters of love, heartbreak, faith, moving away from home, struggles of being an adult, that I really think people can relate too. There’s some fun songs and genre’s in there too that I haven’t been able to explore before, so I am so excited for the world to hear it and see that side of me.

Dominik , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I love storytelling, whether it’s in an acting or singing projects, I love storytelling. I really belief art can be so relatable and can speak to people in different ways. I only have control over the art I make, not how it get’s received, so I always give my 100 percent and commit to a project sothat I can look back and be proud of my efforts and intentions that I put in the work. I have a “do my best and God will do the rest” mentality. It’s also so much fun and a privilege to be able to do what I love.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I have always been a bit of a “do it yourself” type of person. There’s nothing wrong with this, taking the lead and getting things done, especially in this type of career because you are the business. But I have learnt to outsource more things and allowing others to help me when help is offered, is something I am still learning to do. Letting go and handing some things off to people in my team has saved me so much time to be creative. It takes a village and my biggest resource is having a great team and support system.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Excellence drives me. I am not talking about this in a worldly way of fame and money. I would rather be a master of one thing than a jack of all trades. I want to be the best me I can be and the best steward of what God has given me.
