We were lucky to catch up with Dominic Rosacci recently and have shared our conversation below.
Dominic, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers
“The Move That Defined Us”
When I think about the craziest thing I’ve ever done in business, it’s without a doubt our move from Denver to Fountain.
After 12 years in Denver, we’d outgrown our space. But instead of playing it safe, we decided to bet everything on the next chapter. No nest egg. No investor safety net. Just conviction that we could build something better.
We packed up an entire production plant, multiple presses, embroidery machines, staff, thousands of garments, and moved 80 miles south to Fountain. It took 30 trips using 26′ Penske trucks and 2 conastoga semi trucks. We took on a massive facility that doubled our footprint, and at the same time, we had to rebuild almost our entire team, retrain staff, and reinvent our systems.
We didn’t have months of cushion. We had weeks. Every dollar we had was tied up in freight, construction, and payroll. It was one of those moments where you wake up at 3AM questioning your sanity, but you keep going because you believe in what’s on the other side.
And what’s crazy is… it worked. The move reignited our culture, gave us new capacity, and set the tone for the next era of Superior Ink. It reminded me that growth doesn’t come from comfort — it comes from jumping before you’re ready and building the parachute on the way down.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Meet Superior Ink Printing: Built to Last
I’m Dominic Rosacci, founder and CEO of Superior Ink Printing, a full-package apparel production and fulfillment company based in Colorado. We specialize in screen printing, embroidery, and custom apparel manufacturing for brands, bands, and businesses who care about quality, sustainability, and storytelling through merch.
My journey started long before I ever owned a press. I grew up obsessed with creativity and culture, skateboarding, snowboarding, and music. All of it taught me that what you wear says something about who you are. I started selling stickers and shirts on buses as a teenager, just trying to make things that meant something. That love for creative expression eventually turned into a business — one built around the idea that merch can be meaningful.
Over the past 15+ years, Superior Ink has grown from a tiny garage operation into a vertically integrated print and fulfillment powerhouse. We now handle everything from design, sourcing, and decoration to warehousing, pick, pack, and ship for brands across the country. We’ve printed for household names, startups, and nonprofits alike, but what drives us isn’t volume, it’s value. We want every piece we make to carry a story, a purpose, and a standard that represents our clients well.
What sets us apart is the combination of craftsmanship, ethics, and innovation. We’re not just a print shop, we’re a partner that helps brands grow. Our team understands supply chain, creative direction, digital strategy, and fulfillment at a level that allows our clients to scale with confidence. We also take sustainability seriously, working with eco-friendly materials, renewable energy, and responsibly sourced garments, while educating customers on why it matters.
In 2025, we made the biggest leap in our history: we relocated our entire production facility from Denver to Fountain, Colorado. It was a full reset, no safety net, just pure belief in the next chapter. We risked everything to build something bigger, a space that represents our growth, our grit, and our commitment to pushing forward. That move taught me that comfort kills creativity. Growth requires risk, and sometimes, betting it all on your vision is the only way to evolve.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the equipment or the client list, it’s the people and the process. Superior Ink has become a family of makers, designers, and problem-solvers who truly care about their craft. Every order is an opportunity to prove that good work, the kind built with intention, lasts.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about Superior Ink, it’s that we exist to build brands that last. Whether that means producing a merch line for a growing company, managing e-commerce fulfillment, or helping an artist bring their vision to life, we do it with the same mindset: support our people, perfect our process, and respect the environment.
We’re here to make more than just shirts — we’re here to make an impact.

Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
We once made our largest investment in equipment. It cost us $250,000. Upon instal affter a purchase we financed their was a calculation error between the equipment manufacture and the electritions installing it. Turns out we didnt have enough power in our facility to run the new equipment. Not only would it cost us $70k of money we didnt have to run the new power, we also had to pull a permit that ended up taking a year for approval. So the fancy equipement we needed to advance the businsess and help automate and speed up production ended up sitting and collecting dust for over a year. It was nearly the end of us.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
We have tried every aspect of sales and marketing known to man. But after all the moon shots and exploration still to this day, the best new aquisition comes from referrals and reputation. Social media is one of the main drivers also but it is more proof of concept and social proof that helps close new prospects
