Dom, appreciate you joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?

No, but for good reason, I started my creative path when a door in my life closed, as the saying goes, one door closes and another one opens.

Since I started doing education videos on cannabis, it had recently become medical in the state of Ohio and was still very new.

Because of the stigma around our community and all the rules and regulations it made it very hard for me to be successful or to even get videos out so someone can get the education.

If I was trying to do that at any other time it just wouldn’t work out everything lined up the way it needed to be for me to start my education path and to help people heal with the cannabis plant.

Honestly even 2 years before I started if you told me that this was something I was gonna be doing I wouldn’t believe you,and I wouldn’t have been ready and I definitely wouldn’t have been successful.

As part of Nature Me Now LLC, my primary mission is to facilitate healing and craft genuinely organic products that enhance your everyday well-being.

Two decades ago, I made a pivotal decision to start creating products within the comfort of my home. This choice stemmed from the exorbitant costs of remedies for my youngest daughter’s eczema. Fueling this endeavor was my wife’s long-standing passion for holistic living, earning her the endearing title of a ‘green witch.’ Together, our dream evolved into establishing a business centered on crafting family-friendly products. Witnessing the transformative effects on our skin, health, and overall well-being fueled our determination.

We embarked on this journey from our basement, steadily refining our craft. Today, we stand poised with a firm grasp of our trajectory, anticipating the launch of our online platform this year. This platform will provide customers seamless access to our curated line of pain relief and beauty products, inviting everyone to partake in the joy of natural living.

Simultaneously, my unexpected path as an actor unfolded over the past eight years. While acting was never a part of my original plan, I embraced the opportunities that came my way. Through film, commercials, and television, I’ve collaborated with industry giants, learning invaluable lessons along the way. My motivation isn’t fame; it’s about utilizing my talents to uplift and heal people, leaving an indelible mark through memorable characters and performances.

Another unexpected turn led me to become a cannabis influencer. My journey with cannabis began in my late twenties for medicinal purposes, aiding in my healing journey from past traumas. Educating myself extensively on the plant’s science empowered me to integrate it into my daily life effectively. Subsequently, I delved into the cannabis business, leveraging my knowledge to educate and empower others.

Now, these dual passions converge as we prepare to launch our CBD product line this year. From beard products to pain relief solutions, our offerings will reflect our commitment to holistic healing and natural living. This convergence signifies not just a business venture but a culmination of personal journeys intertwined with a shared vision of promoting wellness and empowerment.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Besides being unapologetically myself,to me there is no better feeling than helping someone else I truly believe you cannot do anything for others if you have not yet done your best for yourself.

If I wasn’t happy if my mind was shattered or broken I could not try to lead anyone to a happier healthier life of their own,you must take care of you first,and then and only then can your true mission be put in overdrive with no brakes.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

I was living the life, feeling happy and motivated, I had just became a budtender in the medical cannabis program and I was on my road to doing my dream job.

Unfortunately before my one year anniversary, Covid comes along and changed they way we live life.

This for me was a huge pivot, because they put me on furlough with no time-frame when I would be coming back to work,

Lucky for me it was the best thing that ever happened to me, since I was collecting unemployment I was able to work 2 years in the movie industry without a worry about financial burden.

Those years were amazing so many opportunities and connections were made and without those years I wouldn’t have had the jobs I got that helped move my acting career into another direction.
