We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful DJTSTREETS . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with DJTSTREETS below.
DJTSTREETS , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
In order to be successful, I believe as an entrepreneur/DJ you have to get support and trust from your clients/Friends. In the DJ world, your clients/ friends have the opportunities to place you in positions that could take your career to the next level. For example, if I am providing my DJ service for an event and someone who is attending the event loves my service, I potentially could a new client. Also being a DJ/Business owner, you have to take your earnings and place it back in your business. What do I mean? If you’re in this profession, you have to update your equipment to stay with or pass your competition.
DJTSTREETS , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I AM DJTSTREETS!!
I’ve been a DJ since 2012 and I enjoy what I do. I specialize in Hip Hop and R&B but I am available to provide whatever music you need for your event. I am based out of South Carolina but I do travel to various locations for events. I currently DJ on DTLradio, 107.9 TheBeat (GA), 92.1 OldSkool (SC), and dripradio.com.
During the holidays you can also catch me on 993TheBoxCharleston. I have provided my DJ services to the listed stations: 94.1 ThebeatSavannah, 105.5 ThebeatFlorence, 100.1 ThebeatColumbia, 95.5 HotAugusta, DoggPoundRadio, and IamTCradio.com. Who knows, I may be coming to a radio station near you.
I am a well-rounded DJ who can provide services for clubs and bars but my main passion is Radio and Weddings. For weddings, I provide music, uplighting, and monograms.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Within my business, great communication skills and hard dedication has helped me get to where I am. When it comes down to my business and my DJ name I aim to please my clients. I treat every event as if it’s my own.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
While growing up I always had a strong love for music. I used to beat on boxes with sticks until my mother purchased my first drumset. Fast forwarded to High School, I joined the marching band drumline. Fast forward to college, I fell in love with playing music for my rommates and guest. Fortunately for me, I was blessed and able to play at very small gigs with my computer and my rommate speakers until I saved enough money for official equipment.
