Alright, DJ thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

Faith without works is dead! Believe me, you can do anything you put your mind to!

To whomever may come across this article, I pray my brief story of persistence and dedication my inspire you in any form.

Being a sound curator Is a misinterpreted art form. I think many people would agree that playing LIVE music in front of strangers. (Some more inebriated than others) can be a huge risk! LOL.

Outside influences & allure can affect confidence, motivation, & execution.

Small steps always lead to miles.

When I started I had no formal training or mentors, only an unwavering passion for music. I never second-guessed it!! I knew it was a great avenue to bring me just about everything I wanted in my life. I made my decision without any fear of consequences that may come from it. Didn’t matter. I wanted it!

I didn’t get caught up in having the best equipment or having the most technical skills, I just knew that if I worked at it with my all ,then I will get the desired results.

Fast forward a few years later. I’m proud to see the consistent trend in that direction. I’ve met countless people who have influenced me as well as people I’ve looked up to & may not have seen had I not made this dedication to do it.

Most exciting thing for my close friends, associates & family is the realization that this is not even the tip of the iceberg. I have a lot more to accomplish, along with my wonderful partners in business. I plan to enjoy every minute of it!! Be sure to follow me for the EXCLUSIVE inside look! LOL

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Without question…The results of all the hard work you put in! Setting a goal & achieving is second to None!! Any additional financial gain and status comes directly from falling in love with the process. Like building muscle groups, if you keep working them there is, scientifically no way you cannot see the results! I know many can relate. It’s contagious LOL. The content, the crowds, the relationships, the gains..all from ideas!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

The principles on which I operate on. Staying solid and respectful first. I haven’t been disappointed yet. God got me! I still believe in the word of mouth Transfer, even in these times of social booming. Do right by others. Stay solid… when necessary you may have to take the extra mile! I’ve had so much love and opportunities reciprocated back. Honestly, a big part of many of the productions I do have come from this. Gratuity never cost too much!
