We were lucky to catch up with Dj Five Venoms recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, DJ Five thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
About a year ago, I booked my first International solo tour going to Germany, London and Jakarta. I took the trip on my own. I live in Miami FL. and received an inquiry about a booking in Jakarta Indonesia. I knew I wanted to take the booking but didn’t just want to fly halfway around the world for 1 gig. So I reached out to some of my contact in Europe and got a booking in Munich Germany and London. I also took the trip by myself. it was 10 day around the world by myself to cities that I have never been. I am happy I took the trip because I meet so many amazing people in each city. I also got to see landmarks and cultures I have only seen on tv or online.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am DJ Five Venoms, I am a DJ and Producer. I am also the Official DJ of Rolling Loud, the world’s largest Hiphop festival. I DJ festivals, night clubs and event. I release music with artist primarily in Hiphop. I am the DJ that does the work, I help a lot of artist with my platform.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I like to see people enjoying themselves. either at night club, Festival or listening to my music. If my art can make people feel better and have a good time, I have accomplished my goal.
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I was very heavy in NFTs for a moment. I was releasing music as NFTs and working with companies to add NFTs to ticketing and entertainment . I haven’t been as active as I was a couple years ago. I still keep my eye on the NFT market from time to time. I think that they are useful in the correct format. Which is real world use. Such as ticketing or membership to organization that has real world incentives.
