Alright, DJ thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

My mother played piano in church. I have had a love for music since I was a child.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’m a DJ and artist that has been performing for many years. I went viral grunting worms on TikTok. 15 viral videos. All videos over a million views. 2 videos over 7 million views each. I produce and record music. I’m also a writer for the local newspaper and I write songs. I started playing drums in church. Then Djing, then recording music and then content creator.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I want to entertain people. If you can lift people up then you are doing something right. It’s not always about money. Making a difference is what matters. Put God first and follow your dreams!

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

Buy artist merch, go to shows. Support local talent. If you don’t have money then play our music. Share our music/art with everyone you know. Turn it up!
