We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Drix cFx a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Drix cFx, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

On that I don’t know which is the right answer, because creativity defines me and music understands me, but when all of them combined together here I stand. In my life I’ve been spending a lot of time alone which made me have a lot of time to think and come out with creative ideas. And there is where music founds me. I have been listening to music like for very long time and later after few years I decided why not to start creating my own music so that I could tell the world my thoughts and feelings.

Drix cFx, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Am a music artist & Producer goes by stage name “Drix cFx”, but first I started as a music producer so I can make my own instrumentals for production. My production based on HipHop/Rap but with new modern sound and my own flavor, Which mean there might occur the inter-genre. Because I listen almost everything that musical . Here in my country most of artist do music by following the legacy mean that they been obsessed with dancing or dominant genre known as “BONGO FLEVA” from the most recognized Artist that represent our country very well inside and outside our continent @Diamond Platnumz. And I wanna change that to show them that there is another way to establish your own sound and you can still make it. Though, it really needs a big heart, patience, and consistency because music career it a Marathon not a sprinting race. You will need a lot of time to master and become want you wanted to be for years. The one of the biggest things that am proud my self of is I’VE NEVER GIVE UP on anything so easily even it’s feels like there is no sign of light at all. And all I know is there will be result of it one day. So in order to win be bold and the inspiration of yourself. I’ve been struggling for years to make my music standout outside my country and am really into it, but the huge challenge I’ve been facing is here in my country hip-hop doesn’t have a good fanbase and also English is not working that much. And lack of funding to make the brand standout because I needed to establish a record label that will help to enhance hip-hop revolution. And soon am going to launch my 2nd studio album 2023, but my debut album was launched at the end of year 2022 goes by the name ANTISOCIAL LIF3 Deluxe

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

I think there’s a lot of efforts needed mostly by artist himself/herself to make sure is reaching the potential that might encourage the society to stand for you. And also i prefer the media channels should give the priority the local artists to present their works so that can reach wide range of audience, because when he/she succeed there is alot to gain as an organization, society and individuals. Like the creation of new employments for the management team, will influence the creative kids to come out there and trying to present themselves to that media.
So the main things is Radio, Television and like concerts might be the key aspect to support the creative individual.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Hopefully, The fuel of my career ain’t just a single things, it’s very big but i tried to divide it to tiny small goals do that can match with my timeline and speed. But mostly what i planned is to make sure i help artists to pursue their dreams and maybe even just to make sure if not me then artist from my label take grammy and get on top of Billboard hits.
And am sure I’ll achieve that because i have all of my production team down and they’re always ready for work, just need fund to support the activities to make miracles to life.
