We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dior The Chocolate Doll a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dior , thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
The biggest lesson I have learned from what I have been through is ..If it’s in your heart ,don’t be afraid to take chances and risk. If you believe in your self and God, your dreams can, and WILL be fulfilled. Never allow anyone to make u think otherwise. I had to really learn that because there were times when I didn’t have support. Times I was in a relationship and being told my vision would never happen. Or I would never become the person I am today. Negative vibes like that makes you doubt your self at times. You just have to look past it and put your trust in yourself and be your own team. Look at yourself in mirror , adjust that crown and make them eat those words right up with your success. Anything is possible when u believe and have faith. And having someone that pushes your greatness is always a plus too.

For those who haven’t heard of me my name is Dior The Chocolate Doll. I’m a professional multi published model and cover girl ..2023 Hottest Model Of The Year in ATL. Former Ohio 2x Beauty Queen . Runner up with Maxim Magazine just to name a few. I’m also an actress , music artist and entrepreneur. I own Pretty Kitty Collection and Wzup Radio. I got into each just based off of every talent I have withheld since a child. What made me wanted to start my own Radio station was because the love for music I have ,being an artist myself and writer. I started my own collection due to my love for fashion as mentioned I’m a professional model. What sets me apart from others is the fact that I’m not afraid to take risk. I’m not afraid to think outside the box to make my brand different. I want any client I work with to walk away like man Dior really is about her business and I’m satisfied with the results.
Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
Being that I have such a huge platform with my career in modeling it has been pretty smooth to set up my marketing strategy. I love to use music as well in draw the attention but include photography of the actual products which gives potential clients a feel of what they will be purchasing and how others appear in it. It’s great when branding in my business.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was just to be your own team and boss. Reason why I say that is because yes it’s always beneficial when u bring others in to be apart but sometimes that comes with drama which leads to setbacks with your company. I definitely went through that. Everyone don’t see eye to eye. Sometimes they even try to take your ideas and run with it. So it’s better to go with the one person you have the most trust in and that’s your self when in doubt.
