Dion, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

How I started my podcast and the impact it has on people

Dion, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m a photographer turned podcaster looking to bring humor through my podcast during troubling times we as a society has encountered in the last few years

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

When doing photography, the satisfaction I got When strangers send me messages and say that I’ve helped them get their creativity back or inspired them to pursue photography. From a podcast perspective I’m happy to make people laugh but also use that platform to help listeners and provide them guidance to better help their mental health.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Stop trying to compete with other artists. I’m a firm believer in “Collaboration over Competition.” I love to work with other artists and I wish I learned that early on in the game. Creatives are not out there to “one up” anyone, we’re out there to showcase our work, our vision. We’re out there to not only show our talents, but to inspire others to show out there’s.
