One of the most significant stories from my journey that illustrates resilience is our recent expansion to Florida. Opening a new location while continuing to operate our Toronto shop has been both exciting and challenging. This move allows us to better serve luxury lovers across the USA and Canada, offering shipping options in both countries.
However, balancing this expansion with being a mom to my one-year-old has tested my limits. Being in a new country without my family around for support has made it even more challenging. I often find myself juggling late-night work sessions and early mornings with my little one, all while striving to hit the ground running as we prepare to open our storefront at the end of 2024.
There are days when the weight of it all feels heavy, but I remind myself of why I started Working Girls Boutique: to create a safe, authentic space for luxury enthusiasts. Each step we take in this expansion reinforces my belief that resilience is about pushing through obstacles and embracing the journey, no matter how difficult it may be. I’m proud of what we’re building and excited for the future!
