DIMA, appreciate you joining us today. Can you share an important lesson you learned in a prior job that’s helped you in your career afterwards?

Females, especially moms, wear different hats throughout their life journey. Every job I worked taught me a lifelong lesson. And every situation I faced was an opportunity to learn to grow and be more mature.

Throughout my work in the hospitals, I learned patience, confidentiality, precision, and professionalism.

Throughout my modeling journey, I learned how to be the best presenter of myself and how to get the best out of me. I learned that self confidence is the ultimate key to success no matter what.

All of those learned lessons along believing in myself and my previous relation with the camera throughout my modeling experience were the keys to the gates of social media. Creativity is essential…yes…with no doubts!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My social media channels reflect the different stages of my life. It is realistic. I take my audience with me throughout the steps of my life.
When I used to model, I used to teach my followers the beauty tips and tricks and how to dress up fashionably. They used to travel with me to the different cities and places for my multiple photoshoots and modeling career.
When I became mom, my profile shifted towards lifestyle and family oriented content where I could address a wider variety of audience. My current content focuses on ideas that benefit every family, mom, or female and male. It is focused on traveling, beauty, skincare, makeup, fashion, fitness, wellness, local events and places to explore, and certain discount and offers to get advantage of.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

Yes. Twice. The first time was when my online modeling profile on Instagram twisted my side hustle modeling hobby into a full time job for 2 continuous years. And the second time was during the pandemic period, where my side hustle influencer job on Instagram became a full time job for a couple of years as well!
You are wondering how this happened. I tell you that two important factors contributed to this:
1. The right time. Most of the time success is achieved when things are executed during the right moment.
2. Persistence is essential. Don’t give up easily and definitely success will be achieved.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I have to be honest. Starting from scratch on social media is very hard nowadays, especially with all the algorithm changes on social media. You don’t need thousands and millions of followers to be successful. Building a small knit society of followers who are interactive with you is way better than having millions of non-interactive followers. Remember always, Quality not Quantity!
