We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Diego Conci a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Diego , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you share a customer success story with us?
I like to help people change their lives, with my online tattoo course, I receive many good messages from people who were not happy with their work, when I took my course I did it to meet people’s need, which was to make them happy with their work, that’s why I always say that my course changes lives.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started tattooing approximately 20 years ago, I didn’t want to be just another tattoo artist, I wanted to be different from other tattoo artists, so I created my way of tattooing different from others, after a while I saw that I was able to teach people easily, that’s when I created Academia da Tattoo, which is my online course where the main objective was to change lives, to give people the opportunity to be happy with their jobs, because many people today are not happy with their work or with their salary, this made my brand to be unlike anything else, because it’s not just a course to sell and make money, I’ve done something that changes lives forever.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
this is very simple to answer, people have a pain, and you with your business need to stop their pain, what I mean, you need to find the solution to a problem, if there is a problem you need to bring the solution to the problem, I saw that the people who followed me had a problem with their salaries and their jobs, I offered them a solution.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I learned that everything is stages in life, you need to try 99 times, and the 100th you get it right, if you give up you will never get your turn to get it right, so be disciplined, wake up every day thinking that today may be the day that your life will change, but never give up!
