We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Didier Nicholas a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Didier, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Our SCC Mission was established with an emphasis to provide seniors with one-on-one technology training and tech services, where we would “come to them”. Teaching them what they wanted to know, in the comfort of their own home-environment, on their own device(s); at an affordable cost.
Today, Senior CompuCare also provides people a unique online training and one-on-one educational platform, helping them retool themselves to take their educational foundation and build additional skill-sets.”
Senior CompuCare is a Veteran Owned business and was born with its mission to help seniors, veterans, businesses and youth with day-to-day computing.
Modern technology and software allow us to train and help our customers wherever they are throughout the United States. All of our core services are offered remotely. We want to help everyone and technology allows us to do that.
We have helped veterans and seniors who have mobility issues, so our remote services are perfect for them. We are here for our customers and if that means doing everything over the internet and phone, then that is what we will do.
From Computing Basics, MS Office Products, E-mail, Business Report Tools and Internet Fundamentals to IT training in PC Diagnostics and Repair, Security, Senior CompuCare provides a wide array of services offering a well-rounded, competitive advantage to stand out in the hundreds of resumes that employers weed through daily.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a U.S. Air Force Veteran, honorably discharged after serving our country in the Gulf War. I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration / Marketing and an M.B.A. in International Business.
I’m very proud of our team and how over the many years they have helped many clients with their training needs.
Senior CompuCare’s concept has always been received extremely well, both for client’s and those wanting to become SCC Licensees.
Additionally, pre-pandemic, SCC’s uniqueness has been to “go to” our clients one-on-one so to speak. Our experience in the technology industry showed us the need to bring remote services to light. To yes identify there are safeguards necessary; however, it was a direction of great importance in the trending paradym shift. Clients pre-pandemic couldn’t see it. So now, most are trying to “catch up”.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I have always believed in honesty & consistency. Also, we are providing a much needed service to those who struggle with technology. As time went by, I noticed other services that Senior CompuCare could implement into its business strategy. Building a consistent brand and providing top notch quality training SCC helped many Seniors, Veterans and Business with their training needs.
The timing of changes are relevant as the company evolves its service offerings to deliver for the
future of work for many. “When I ask people what traditional education means to them
regarding a career, they tend to share their thoughts that their education would take them from
graduation, to working for one company until retirement.” said Didier Nicholas, Founder and
CEO of Senior CompuCare. “Senior CompuCare came about to provide people a unique online
training and one-on-one educational platform, helping them retool themselves to take their
educational foundation and build additional skill-sets.”
Designed for both digital and physical channels, the new brand identity and redesigned logo
showcase how SCC takes the mystery out of technology for many.
The newly-redesigned website features easy-to-navigate features with the visual design
showcasing the SCC customer experience. Although SCC has been delivering on its mission for
over a decade with successful Licensees and happy loyal customers, the new brand identity, logo,
and website significantly better represents who the SCC family is and what the SCC team brings
to market for customers.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
I believe great communication and letting your team focus on what they do best leads to great teamwork and builds high moral. I have always been a firm believer that each individual has strengths and weaknesses. If you focus on your team members strength and let them do what they do best, they will love what they do. Also, giving positive feedback to your team members on their achievements is key to a positive working environment.
