We recently connected with Diane Russo and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Diane thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
I have always worked in the corporate world under Vice Presidents of major corporations. I never dreamed that I would become a professional artist at the age of 57.
I wish I would have discovered my artistic talent earlier in life so that my parents could have experienced my art.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My children bought me an easel because they knew I liked to doodle. They were shocked to witness a full acrylic landscape on my canvas.
I paint with my fingers, which makes my art unique.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I belief art is healing and I was just asked to be an artist at The Conklin Center for the Blind. I have made it my mission in life to help people heal with art.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is to create lasting memories for families.
