Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’ve been in the Digital Marketing industry since 2015. I was self-taught. In late 2020, I decided to launch a brand for women that have faced and endured difficult obstacles and trials. Femme Strong Activewear is a brand I wanted them to relate to.
Femme Strong is a symbol of strength: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. This is more than just a clothing brand, it is a story. It is my story, your story, her story, our story. It’s a brand for all women that found strength in their own journey, for the women who were broken down and got back up, for women who believe in their potential, women that push themselves, for the women that never gave up!
*Femme Strong’s mission is to inspire and motivate women to feel confident, strong, & bold; not only in our apparel but throughout their journey in life too.
We help make a true impact. When you purchase from Femme Strong you will contribute to making a difference in another woman’s life. We rise by lifting one another. ~ 10% of our monthly proceeds go to Samaritan Ministries, an organization that helps women who have experienced trauma in their lives by providing spiritual, social, economic, and vocational support.
We embrace our strength together!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Our reputation was built through genuine connections and our over-all message. Our customers and supporters see the authenticity of Femme Strong and our intention to truly make an impact on women/moms. Brand awareness and collaborating with like-minded brands has helped tremendelously as well!.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
This may be an unpopular decision and perhaps not the smartest, but I funded my business by using money from my personal savings account.
Now as I am growing and learning more about entrepreneurship, I would’ve taken out a small business loan or even applied for small business grants. I do not regret the method I used for that initial capital I needed, but I wouldn’t have gone that route if I knew then what I know now.
