We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Diamon Diamon. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Diamon below.
Alright, Diamon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
In this industry of music I have learned that doing research is best I didn’t know how to deliver my lyrics when I first started but I listened to rapper’s like 2pac, nas, 50cent, ja,rule, z-ro and I was able to download their lyrics and find a beat and rap them lyrics on the beat the way they did and i got better I’m still learning today about music how to write my bars and all but as we all know practice makes perfect.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Diamon_58 from Austin Texas I have been rapping for over 14years I just started putting my music out for the last 3 years not that much supporters but I’m growing this industry has been a struggle for me due to financial difficulties an DC lack of loyalty from love one’s you have to be head strong to be apart of anything that’s going to elevate your lifestyle people will not support your vision make fun of you etc but you have to believe in yourself and you will go far
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me the awards you get from being an artist is seeing people enjoy your music Knowing that they can relate to your lyrics that’s awarding for me
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes my kids motivate me to keep pushing forward to be able to show them you can do more then a basic job is a blessing they see me work a 9to5 and go do tap shows the same day work ethic is something I’m sure the will carry on from seeing me put in the work that do also i I can’t forget God he is the main reason why I do my music follow me on my Facebook or Instagram to understand why
