Dezy, appreciate you joining us today. Some of the most interesting parts of our journey emerge from areas where we believe something that most people in our industry do not – do you have something like that?

Most people believe that as a makeup artist You wear makeup every day or that you promote “changing the way you look”. When In fact I promote self love, self confidence, and believing that beauty starts before the brush ever strokes! Makeup is a mere enhancement! Yes for years we may have been under the impression that it covers up imperfections and it may cover up few but but flawed and all a woman can still be beautiful! Perfectly imperfect! Don’t get me wrong I love a beat face just as much as the next artist but I love the vibe and attitude and confidence it promotes when a woman can see that with it on or with out it she’s still a beautiful queen. Makeup has evolved so much that the simplest soft glam can make a woman still look and feel like herself with just some added touches. Making women from all walks of life see their true beauty and not just through makeup is such a gift and blessing. I found out fast that makeup was more than just a 100 plus likes and followers. This is truly a opportunity for me to change the way someone sees themselves even if it’s just for a moment.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Dezy and I am the owner of Classy Face by Dezy! I’m a professional makeup artist. While I do set work like commercials, tv specials, and movies, my absolute favorite of all time is to do bridal glam/ wedding glam. I love being a part of my client’s special day and being more than just their artist! I’m most proud of since moving to Atlanta the goals I’ve set for my business whether small or big I’m accomplishing them. I love doing other’s makeup more than doing my own! I love how people feel afterwards! I love to see the extra attitude or confidence that comes after seeing the complete look. I’ve been doing makeup for about five years now and three of them being professional. I wholeheartedly love what I do and the lives I’ve touch so far.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

My most effective strategy is simple! Consistency! I make you’re my work stays consistent! I make sure as an artist I stay consistent with my clients. Making sure I keep a great communication line with new clients being able to answer any question or concerns they may have! And making sure my work speaks for it self.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

It’s really seeing how many lives I’ve touched Even if it’s just for a moment! Being apart of special occasions and moments. Not only have I built clientele I’ve built friendships and bonds with people because they have trusted me with their special moments.
