Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Devonte Longmire. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Devonte thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
To be honest I didn’t really know what I was doing at first I kind of just learned as I kept going. I would always look at YouTube tutorials and other people work to try too learn new things and try it out for myself but in my own way and style I learn new things everyday even still to this day. My biggest thing was learning my camera how to expose everything properly learning the focus settings just making sure everything is right so it can be easier on me in post production
Devonte, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I created the name rockiezoomin in 2017 when I started getting into videos and photography I just used really as a name because I didn’t want to use my real name. For the past for years everything has grown fast for me a lot of opportunities have come my way and I’ve met a lot of people and this is all by myself just shooting and editing everything by myself. So now I’m looking to take a different route with things me and a close friend of mine are going into business together and starting a production team called ARTLESS we’re working on having everything together business wise by the beginning of the year. With this we’ll offer a lot for our clients music videos, commercials, merchandise, films and more im very excited on getting stared on this
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I really enjoy when people let me know I inspire them or they look up too me it keeps me going because it’s like I have a audience of people who are watching and they believe in me so it’s a very rewarding and motivational feeling. I must be doing something right
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To create and have fun that’s it. As long as I’m improving and growing and staying consistent I know that the sky is the limit
