Devonta, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I have always wanted to show what my mind can come up with when it comes to music no matter if it’s singing, rapping, playing the snare and etc. I’ve always took music as a stress reliever for me it’s just something about expressing myself on a track to and elaborate how I’m feeling at times even if it may cause concerns or rumors.
Devonta, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I can say from the beginning of the time I decided I wanted to consider myself as a artist and record music I knew that wasn’t the only thing I wanted to do I wanted to I’m prove on engineering as well and I have almost 30 mixtapes so far in counting and went through a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to get o where I’m at. I had to accept changes accept the fact that the music sounds good but could always use improvements also to push myself further to try to go the extra mile to do the right thing and create different challenges to complete the obstacles I come across or have to face later down in the future. I lost projects some were dump files crashed, and I had to keep switching lab tops just to make music redo songs and more but I never gave up. I’m proud of the fact that I came along way went through platforms like sound cloud to be heard or Spinrilla but I got tired of losing traction from fans and decided to step it up and go with all platforms such Apple Music, Spotify, tidal, Amazon music and More.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
At the time I wanted to get the music to variety of crowds of different groups of people so I can expand so I would use live streaming platforms, and social media such as periscope, twitter, Facebook and Instagram but also add links from my music and in bios and promote the music post it share it repost get your friends to post or share it.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I’m not really into NFTS but I can say I feel like it’s just another scheme to get everyone to invest their time and money into a painting or whatever just to rip you off and take all your money and leave you dry with nothing. Some celebrities have wasted money they could’ve gave to people in need and starving just to get scammed at the end.
