Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Devinne Whittaker. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Devinne, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
Well my first customer ever was my mom! In 2019 my mother was diagnosed with a rare aggressive terminal cancer- prognosis poor and they suggested chemo and radiation right off the bat. My mother took that route the first year but things were not improving and that was not going to work for me or my mother! I was living in Austin, tx then and i decided I was moving back home to face this head on together! I started the process of becoming a health coach and started doing some digging, first step go plant based! Making a diet change was huge but introducing fresh pressed juices was a whole other ball game! My mother was starting to lose her eye sight due to a new chemo drug they were administering to my mother at the time, which they said would likely happen. I then discovered celery juice, 2 months in her eye sight came back. After discovering celery juice i was hooked on learning the power fresh pressed juices have to offer, i started juicing EVERYTHING. I started coming up with recipes for my mom and 6 months into incorporating fresh juice my mothers original tumor the one they said would NEVER go away was GONE! Yes I said GONE! My mother was then eligible for surgery (which she was told would also never be an option) they took the rest of the cancer out and now I can say my mother is 1 year in remission! She is my forever why and mission statement! My goal is to create a community of wellness warriors and get people excited about being healthy, educating people how to eat consciously and knowing that cancer does not have to be a death sentence!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
The backbone of my company revolves around my mother and her successful battle with terminal cancer, I would not be doing any of this if it were not for her courage to trust me and take this crazy new path with me! When my mother got sick in 2019 something was ignited in me. FIGHT MODE. I dove head first into alllll the weird, wacky, alternative , methods of healing the body. First step plant based! The tumors stopped growing but we were not seeing results that were screaming WE’RE GUNNA BEAT THIS, and I needed something screaming WE’RE GUNNA BEAT THIS. So shortly after the diet change my mother was placed on a new chemo drug that was causing loss of eye sight. I then discovered celery juice. I was like celery juice?! I didn’t care I was willing to try it all and so was she. The stories I read of people healing there bodies with this super juice were hard to deny, so right then and there we started our celery juice journey or as mom would say her cancer juice journey. 2 months into celery juice – EYE SIGHT BACK. After that I started juicing anything and everything. 6 months into that BOOM tumor gone and she was eligible for surgery to take the rest out and now she is 1 year in remission! Doctors told my mother neither one of these things would happen for her. I then became a certified vegan health coach and started making juice recipes for certain ailments. I like to tackle everyday ailments such as, acid reflux, inflammation, gut health, cancer, auto immune disease type 2 diabetes, fatigue, low sex drive, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. I offer health coaching, 3 day cleanses, weekly juice regimes, wellness workshops, and community gatherings. What sets me apart i think from other juice companies is how I do my cleanses and come up with new juice recipes. My 3 day cleanses include a free health consult that we set up prior to performing a cleanse. You then get an email of my wellness warrior plan to keep your cleanse going even after the juice cleanse! In the health consult we discuss prior medical history, current medications, changes you would like to make and see. allergies and also get to know eachother! The cleanse is made specific and different each time based on our health consult. You then get a juice named after you if i have to create a new recipe for a new ailment! If its popular (which normally they are) that juice stays on the menu and then gets rotated monthly. For my weekly clients we check in at the beginning of the week to discuss how they are feeling and I come up with a regime for them that week. My goal is to educate and let people know that food is medicine and we do not have to wait until we are sick to make changes now and start healing from within! I want to create a community that wants to thrive, lift each other up and do it feeling the best we can! I have partnered up with the Anna Maria community center and now juice full time out of the kitchen there and offer wellness workshops monthly that revolve around alternative ways of healing the body from within! It is different every month but can range from sound therapy, breath work, yoga, dancing, singing, permaculture, organic farming, cbd, thc, hemp, acupuncture, stress and trauma release, reiki, tapping, gratitude, meditation, juicing, ice baths, plant based nutrition, kindness and so much more! Another exciting thing I have started doing monthly at the center is I have children from Anna Maria Elementary one friday a month and we juice! They get to pick 3 ingredients from what I have ordered that week for them and they juice their own juice, then their teachers taste them all and pick 2 winners! Those two winners get that juice named after them and placed on my website for a month and all proceeds from the juice go to the center ! I believe it starts with the kids! I look forward to seeing them every month! last week one of the children came up and told me she started having juice contests at home and I cried! This is why i do what I do! To get people and children excited about eating well! I can’t wait to continue doing what I love! Stay tuned on new and exciting things at the Anna maria community center!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I’m going to share with you the week I had last week… it all started with a 250$ speeding ticket, followed by my labels for my bottles not being delivered, my bottles ALSO were not delivered and on back order, my new rental i was supposed to move into fell through, a rock hit my windshield and cracked it, i had to find a new produce company to source by business. THIS ALL HAPPENED in 48 hours. I was mad, doubting myself, thinking if this was for me it wouldn’t be so hard, I felt like the universe was telling me something I could feel it. So I it dialed back and went and took a hot yoga class , as I got up from my matt there lied a perfect eagle in the form of my sweat?! I literally made 10 people come look at it to make sure i was not hallucinating. In fact 10 people saw clear as day an eagle. An eagle has always resonated with me and i see them often. To see an eagle can mean many things but right there in that moment for me it meant ambition, will power and duty! Then that evening Canvas rebel reached out wanting to know more about my company, these are the little signs we need to make sure we pay attention to! I have also learned that EVERYTHING is a lesson, if something is no longer working adapt and move on. This is not the only bad day I have had and I know there will be many more, but every day I remember I’m doing good, kind work and it fuels my mind, body and soul daily and I couldn’t ask for more! Cheers to staying resilient and to keep doing what makes you happy and drives you!
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for me currently is doing farmers markets in my hometown and meeting the community that fills my beautiful hometown!
