Certainly. A pivotal moment for my business was when we decided to expand our operations beyond Virginia, where we are based, and pursue contracts in other states. This was a significant decision because it involved stepping into unfamiliar markets with different regulatory environments and competitive landscapes.
The primary risk was the uncertainty of operating outside of our home state. We had to ensure that we were fully compliant with the laws and regulations in each new state, which required thorough research and sometimes adjustments to our business practices. Additionally, we were entering markets where we had less brand recognition, so there was a risk that we might not gain the traction we were hoping for.
However, I believed that the potential rewards outweighed these risks. Expanding into new markets was crucial for our growth strategy, and it allowed us to diversify our client base. We approached this expansion cautiously, starting with extensive market research and leveraging any local partnerships that could provide us with on-the-ground insights.
In the end, the decision paid off. By taking this calculated risk, we were able to grow our business significantly, increase our revenue streams, and establish a presence in multiple states. This experience reinforced the importance of stepping out of our comfort zone and embracing new opportunities, even when they involve a degree of risk.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. I’m based in Virginia, and I started my journey in this industry with a deep passion for Cleaning. It all began when I realized there was a significant gap in the market for Quality Cleaning. I saw an opportunity to make a real difference, not just by offering these services, but by doing so in a way that prioritizes quality, reliability, and client satisfaction.
Our business primarily provides Janitorial services, flooring services, carpet cleaning services, power washing services and window cleaning services . What sets us apart is our commitment to understanding the unique needs of each client and tailoring our approach accordingly. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions; instead, we focus on creating customized strategies that deliver tangible results. Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Yes, what began as a side hustle has indeed grown into my full-time business and career. The journey started somewhat unexpectedly. I had always wanted to just be entrepreneur and just solely work for myself. I use to work a 9-5 job and when I got off work on my business and service the few clients I started out with. I did that for the first three years out of the five years I’ve been in business.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What help me build my reputation was my out going trait that I have. I tend to always talk to everybody and love to conversate. So when I go to networking events I talk to everybody no matter what business they have I want to be friends with them and that’s the secret. I tend to make friends and my friends always seem to call me when they see or hear something that will benefit me and my business. This is how I have gotten a bunch of my business and only thing I have to do from there is deliver the quality I speak of and then I look up and have a client that I was referred to by my friend. Delivering the quality makes me look like a good business to refer to anybody my friends think is a good fit for me
