Deuna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

My parents have always supported anything that I wanted to pursue, rather its going too school, growing in a company, or running my own business. My parents are total opposites but I learn individual lessons from them both. My mom is what you would consider a natural born hustler. I have seen her make sugar out of dirt and never give up. I can not recall the last time she worked for a company or your typical 9-5. She has been a tax preparer for 10 plus years and has made success out of running her on business. With countless of returning and growing clients she has taught me how to prepare taxes as well. She also was the very first person to tell me to take my passion seriously because of her I took myself serious! My dad (POPS) as I like to call him. Has been a great example of a man taking care and providing for his family. I have saw my dad work countless days to make sure his family has the best of the best. He taught me to put a name on all of my money and the importance of financial freedom. The biggest lesson of them all is to bet on yourself. My dad has taking his knowledge and skills and now runs his very own warehousing company, and did I mention can build almost anything! My parents have molded me to be a hardworking, determined, boss of a woman ! That’s what they did right!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am a young black Pro Makeup Artist, based in Memphis TN but I also travel. I got into the beauty industry from watching women apply makeup growing up. I have always had a passion for makeup as a little girl. In HighSchool my parents finally allowed me to wear real products. My friends and family watched me and wanted me to apply their makeup as well. The start of my company simply came from the love of makeup. Once I learned to true power of makeup and how it makes you feel I knew it was my calling. I specialize in natural enhancements, sell my own products, and can finish a makeup application in 35 minutes exact! For years women have struggled with finding a makeup artist that will have them still looking and feeling like themselves after the service. The technique and skills that I use will have you still looking like yourself and feeling like a million bucks. I have studied and taught myself how to enhance your natural beauty. That’s where the name Enhanceubeauty came from. The problem that I am solving is giving women the confidence in knowing that their natural beauty has been enhanced. I love what I do and continue to pour into everyday women through makeup!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Being fast in my field help me build my reputation. I work with a lot of business owners who have meetings,photoshoots, zoom calls etc. I had to learn to be quick with my makeup brushes. It build a name for me with out me trying. Women love a great service that doesn’t take long.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Social media has been my best source of clients .
