Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Destiny Webb. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Destiny, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful it takes discipline , courage , and consistency . You have to have enough disciple to understand even though you are no where you want to be you have to be consistent and discipline enough to put out your best quality . I have recently started my YouTube channel the beginning of January and I have been being consistent with posting twice a week and the begging of April I had 40 subscribers and recently on Memorial Day I posted a shein bathing suits haul that has went viral and the traffic was 130k within a month. On my YouTube I currently have 1,400 subscribers because of that video but you have to believe in yourself even when you are consistent and you don’t see any difference you have to have the courage to keep going. Think about it if you put your all into something and stick to it is going to do well it might not be as soon as you want it to but that is god testing your faith to see if you really want it as bad as you say you do. Without hard work , discipline , and consistently there is no success .
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello Everyone , My name is Destiny Webb I was born in Columbia Sc but was raised in Charlotte NC. I started getting into the content creator industry in high school when iPhone first started coming out and I would just post consistently , at first I felt like I didn’t take it serious because I was just having fun taking pictures not thinking to much about it. My parents also put me in modeling and acting classes when I was younger because I always had a passion for being in front of the camera . I have also collaborated with many brands such as prettylittlething , icon swim and other big brands. As a creator you name is the most important thing and you have to understand that your name is your brand and that is what most people look into! I’m most proud of appreciating the journey and even though to some people they would say that I have accomplished things some people will never accomplish in there lifetime but I also see me being bigger than what im currently in and its about trusting the process and enjoying the journey.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
The market for NFTs, which have been available for a while, is currently expanding due to sudden demand. NFTs are more secure and take advantage of the digital transition that has been accelerated by the Covid-19 outbreak, according to supporters, who assert that this means they are here to stay. NFTs won’t make up a significant portion of the art market after this initial wave of excitement fades, despite the fact that enthusiasts may be accurate about the NFTs’ long-term viability.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
The journey is a protracted one. To master your craft, it takes a lifetime, and anyone who tells you differently is simply lying. There will be a lot of breaking down and (at first) little appreciation. People may be mean or constructively critical of you and your accomplishments . Become incredibly tough-skinned. These artists have been through it all and are here to share what they’ve learned. From discovering your confidence, discipline, and voice to understanding entrepreneurship, financial challenges, and business tips, and coping with success, rejection, and shattered egos.
