Hi Destiny, thanks for joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
The journey from idea to execution for Rebel has been a transformative experience. It all began with the excitement sparked by a mock video envisioning the interior of Rebel. We engaged in numerous discussions, weighing the pros and cons of starting a business until we collectively embraced the risk and committed to the venture. Research led us to explore commercial property rentals, a pivotal step that presented significant hurdles as many buildings required extensive renovation and care, demanding additional resources in terms of time and finances. Despite these challenges, we proceeded to establish the LLC, secured a location, and commenced the cleanup and renovations. However, our progress faced a monumental setback with the onset of the COVID pandemic, amplifying the time and financial investment required by an unforeseen magnitude . Apart from navigating through the challenges posed by COVID, we encountered hurricanes, financial setbacks, building relocations, higher-than-anticipated investments, and the meticulous acquisition of correct licensing and permits. In summary, what began as a vision showcased in a mock video eventually evolved into an officially registered lounge & hall available for hire.

My venture into this industry was inspired by a passion for creating spaces that elevate events and celebrations. Recognizing the need for versatile, well-equipped venues and lounge areas , We set out to establish a space that caters to various occasions, from intimate gatherings to corporate functions.
At our event space, we offer a versatile and adaptable setting that can accommodate a wide array of events—social gatherings, lively celebrations, corporate meetings, baby welcomings, and more. We provide ample parking, both indoor and outdoor venue access, handicap-accessible facilities, and essential amenities like internet/TV access. Additionally, we collaborate with licensed caterers and permit bartenders, offering a comprehensive solution for event planning needs.
What sets us apart is our dedication to providing a seamless experience for our clients. We aim to solve the problem of finding a versatile, well-equipped space by offering a customizable venue that can cater to diverse event requirements. We aim to solve the need for a chill, social environment where individuals can unwind, socialize, and for willing party to enjoy a quality hookah experience.
I’m most proud of the positive feedback we’ve received from clients, affirming our commitment to exceptional service and a well-equipped venue. Our space is a blank canvas waiting for clients to paint their perfect event, and we take pride in being part of those memorable moments.
