What I want for my business in the future is to have trained and employed other young black estheticians to be apart of D.W. Beauty Work Intimate Wax LLC. I want to build my name , brand and a great team to give opportunities to other women and eventually just be able to over see everything until it’s time to pass leadership on. My hopes for my legacy is to be able to pass down a strong foundation that I will build through my business to my family so they can have a great head start in life.

I entered the beauty industry in 2018 and became licensed as an esthetician and specialized in fullbody waxing/hair removal. My business D.W. Beauty Work Intimate Wax LLC was established in 2020 my shop provides fullbody waxing for women also offering vsteam and vajacial services. I help women maintain smooth healthy skin through my services, products and educating them on maintenance between services. Business have been great and I am so grateful one thing that helps me stand out is my excellent customer service skills with all my clients it makes more women come to me for what I offer.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Honesty word of mouth which in today’s time you have many forms of that. I have 5 star reviews on all platforms that I can receive reviews on my number one is Google where women find me most of the time and see the great reviews my clients give me so they will book an appointment with me just from that alone. Client referrals and social media also helps a lot with me gaining new clients. You must be consistent every day and every week with marketing your business you will never lose with that even if it don’t feel like it’s working it will.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I make it a point to have great communication when it comes to my clients so any announcements that need to be communicated will be sent through email/text. Also I put updated information on my website and social media pages so my clients do not be out the loop and know any new information related to my shop in advance. Communication is a daily thing for me to keep a good flow to the business.
