I have always had a deep passion for videography and the art of crafting compelling visual narratives. Whether it’s through capturing unique camera angles or envisioning the final product in my mind, the process of creating videos has always brought me immense joy. Initially, I began my creative journey on YouTube, honing my skills and refining my craft over the years.

Upon entering college and earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing, I realized that I wanted to channel my love for creative content creation and social media marketing into a business venture. I aspired to offer services that encompassed not only videography but also photography, recognizing the power of both mediums in delivering captivating messages to audiences.

In today’s digital age, social media platforms provide us with an unprecedented opportunity to share content that reflects our boundless creativity. It’s an exhilarating experience to explore a plethora of ideas and innovative approaches to help businesses and products distinguish themselves and offer a fresh perspective. The decision to establish my own creative content and marketing business has proven to be incredibly rewarding, granting me the freedom to express my creativity and make a meaningful impact.

During my college years, I took the leap and established a specialized business offering top-notch photo and video services to both individuals and businesses. From capturing captivating portraits for individuals to crafting engaging video ads for companies, my passion for visual storytelling was at the forefront of my entrepreneurial journey.

After successfully completing my business and marketing degree, I had the incredible opportunity to join a marketing agency as a content curator. This role allowed me to immerse myself in the world of brands and businesses, collaborating with a diverse range of clients and creating compelling content and promotional materials for their campaigns. As I worked alongside talented professionals from various departments, I gained invaluable insights into areas such as ad management, influencer marketing, and the art of becoming a seasoned social media marketer.

Motivated by this newfound knowledge and experience, I made the decision to expand my business beyond video and photography and venture into the realm of social media marketing. This expansion enabled me to combine all my passions seamlessly, offering a comprehensive range of services that catered to the needs of my clients. The ability to pursue my creative endeavors while working for myself has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to embrace a multifaceted career that blends my passions with professional growth.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Word-of-mouth and networking have emerged as the most effective means of expanding my clientele. Despite initial doubts, these methods have proven to be the primary drivers of my business growth. Personal recommendations and positive feedback from satisfied clients have greatly contributed to my reputation and attracted new customers. Additionally, actively engaging with industry professionals and fostering relationships through networking has opened doors for collaboration and valuable referrals. The power of word-of-mouth and networking surpasses any other marketing strategy I had anticipated, establishing a strong foundation for the continuous growth of my business.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

In addition to creating content for others, I am now driven to produce content that truly brings me joy and showcases my unique perspective. My aspiration is to embark on a personal journey of self-expression, pushing boundaries and venturing into new creative territories. By following this path, I seek to ignite my creative fire and craft content that resonates profoundly with both myself and my audience.
