Alright, Desstoni thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump into the story of starting your own firm – what should we know?

I was inspired to start this company after being a victim of gun violence myself. It was a traumatic experience that made me realize the importance of actually being equipped to protect yourself in an emergency. I wanted to do what I could to ensure that no one feels vulnerable or helpless in the face of imminent danger the way I did.

My name is Desstoni Johnson, owner of FAB Firearms Academy, a firearms instruction school in Central Arkansas founded with women in mind. I was inspired to start this company after being a victim of gun violence myself. It was a traumatic experience that made me realize the importance of actually being equipped to protect yourself in an emergency. I wanted to do what I could to ensure that no one feels vulnerable or helpless in the face of imminent danger the way I did.
One of the things that sets FAB Firearms Academy apart is our tailor-made approach to firearms training. We believe that women have their own set of concerns in this world, and our training reflects that. By creating a space where women feel understood and supported, we foster a learning environment that promotes growth and confidence.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Social media has allowed us to experience remarkable growth and find women all over the US who need what we offer.

Since our inception in 2020, we have trained over 1,000 women, a milestone that we are incredibly proud of. Seeing the transformative impact of our training on the lives of our students fuels our passion and drives us to continue making a difference!
