We recently connected with Denisse Paola Benitez and have shared our conversation below.

Denisse Paola, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I remember being that little girl that always wanted to look and feel cute but couldn’t I never had the self esteem or confidence to feel like I could . Later in the years I learned that we are all beautiful and can be cute and sexy and whatever we want ! I learned that we have to embrace ourselves in every stage in our lives . When I went to Beauty School I remember It wasn’t my dream but it was something my parents could afford and I could then work and pay for college . I remember thinking well even if I don’t love it or do it forever it’ll be good because I can learn how to do my own hair and make up and at the time I had no idea how to do anything so win win ! Lol I remember within my first month I just fell in love with the industry!! I found a hidden love for CREATING ! The boost of confidence you get by just changing one little thing about yourself . I love giving that to my clients helping them feel their best even if their not having the best day ever . Closing Chapters and entering new ones with a New Look ! Letting them look their self in the mirror and just love themselves .

Denisse Paola, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi my name is Denisse Paola I am a Hairdresser at M salón Houston I’ve been in the industry for about 10 years now . Making sure I am growing as a Stylist in the industry is one of my top priorities we have so many new trends every couple of months so I make sure I continue to educate my self to give my clients the best hair and experience so they can feel like they’re walking a runway when they step out of my chair . Giving my clients that Boost of Confidence , Positive Self Esteem is one of my main goals . Something very important to me is having a connection with my clients anytime they walk thru the door I want them to feel in a comfortable and safe place .

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Social Media has to be one of the hardest ones out there . I’m not going to lie I havent figured it out my self yet either . All I can say is that IT WORKS!!! Just being consistent trying to find what it is your audience wants from you . Being personal I’ve noticed is something they love to see knowing that you are a normal person just like them . Don’t forget to post is incredible how many followers or views you loose by just not posting consistently.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Honestly Social Media has been a game changer I get a lot of new clients from my videos or pictures and by word I have amazing clients that always share where they get their hair done and encourage them to come and try me . They are the best . I couldn’t have asked for better clients.
