We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Denise Mullinex. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Denise below.
Denise, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, let’s start with a hypothetical – what would you change about the educational system?
The education system could be improved by focusing more on identifying and nurturing each student’s individual strengths and learning styles. Throughout my academic journey, I was fortunate to encounter several influential educators who played pivotal roles in shaping my interests and abilities. One particularly impactful social studies teacher fostered a deep appreciation for history and its lessons, encouraging critical thinking and analysis of past events.
In the realm of art education, I benefited from instructors who recognized my aptitude for art history and drawing. These mentors not only nurtured my talents but also guided me in applying these skills to assist fellow students, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to peer support and collaboration.
Collectively, my teachers identified and cultivated my innate ability to help others, a skill that has become a cornerstone of my personal and professional life. This talent manifests in various aspects of my current endeavors, underscoring the lasting impact of educator guidance in identifying and developing students’ strengths.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
