We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Den Baurin a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

DEN , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

I believe happiness is unique for each person. For me, as an artist, it is connected to the ability to share my emotions and thoughts through music. Creating a song or performing on stage are the moments that truly make me happy because I see how my music resonates with people’s hearts.

At the same time, I deeply respect every kind of work. I know that everyone faces their own challenges and finds joy in life, no matter their profession. This inspires me to appreciate even more the moments we all share: the joy we feel when we do something meaningful for ourselves or others.

I don’t think about a different life in terms of changing my path because music is what defines me. However, I am always open to new experiences and moments that can inspire me and help me grow both as an artist and as a person.

I am DEN BAURIN, a pop artist, composer, and performer. Music is not just my profession; it’s my way of connecting with the world, expressing emotions, and sharing stories that resonate with people’s hearts.

My journey into music began at a young age when I first realized how sounds could evoke powerful emotions. Since then, I’ve known that I wanted to dedicate my life to this art form. My career is the result of hard work, inspiration, and the support of those who believed in me. Today, I create music that blends contemporary trends with timeless themes like love, hope, and self-discovery.

What do I offer my audience? Above all, emotional experiences. Each of my songs is a story that touches listeners. I am also proud of my performances, where the audience can not only hear the music but feel it through atmosphere and visuals.

One of my proudest achievements is performing on international stages, including participating in the “Laima Rendezvous Jurmala” festival in 2024 and the “The Power of Ukraine” tour in the U.S. These projects not only strengthened my connection with fans but also allowed me to deliver important messages about unity and support.

What sets me apart from others? I strive to create music that inspires and unites. My style is a balance of modern sound and emotional depth. I believe that sincerity will always resonate with people.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

I believe society can play a vital role in supporting artists by providing funding, accessible creative spaces, and education. Valuing art equally with other professions and creating platforms for sharing work are essential. Supporting artists directly by attending events, purchasing their work, and spreading the word makes a significant difference. Creativity is a bridge that connects people, and fostering it enriches society both spiritually and culturally.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The greatest satisfaction for me comes when my work resonates with people. It could be a smile, tears, or heartfelt words after a performance. In those moments, I realize that the emotions I poured into my music have become a part of someone else’s story. This sense of connection with the audience is the most valuable to me because it proves that creativity can unite and inspire.
