Jewel LLC launched June 1, 2019 with a desire to change the monthly experience of women and young girls menstrual cycles around the world. We understood the risk of this taboo subject. However, we also understood that females deserved to have a healthier product when it came to sanitary napkins or menstrual pads. We started this company with a clear vision to educate families on their product choices. We understand that a sanitary napkin is used by women and young girls, but the entire family is affected when our women and young girls are using unhealthy products. Many women and young girls grew up using unhealthy products shared by the women in their lives. Women simply passed down products and brands that was shared with them without any education of the chemicals in the products and the potential danger of tampons usage. We had a desire as a company to simply create a healthier product. There are products on the market that are a chemical soup of disaster for women that contain toxins, bleach and dyes. There are over 600,000 hysterectomies performed a year in the United States and the majority are African American women. Our women and young girls are affected when they do not have a clear understanding of the chemicals and toxicity of menstrual products. Our mission was to raise awareness so we started a campaign, Justice For My Jewel. We believe by informing both teens and women globally who suffer in silence with pain, heavy bleeding, unhealthy menstrual cycles and the potential toxicity of tampon use. We would bring light to this taboo subject that has silenced women and young girls from all cultures for many years.

The Justice For My Jewel platform educates women and young girls on the important roles of keeping a healthy cycle by encouraging getting active, healthy eating, healthy product choices and community awareness events. Before we launched we also conducted a feasibility study with a group of women for feedback and this is how REIGN was born. We have begun our international expansion. We will be ready to move into Nigeria, Mexico and Canada in the first quarter of 2023. On the horizon we are also eyeing Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados. Being the Man of my household I should be aware of every challenge affecting my family in every area. Once I became educated, I apologized to my family for my ignorance and have been on the front line ever since pushing education and awareness of the devastating effect these products are having on our women and young girls. We grew as a company during the pandemic, and we thrived as a business. When most companies were closing and downsizing their business we grew as a company. We experienced what majority of businesses experienced during the pandemic with the increase in cost of raw materials and shipping prices. However, we made a conscious decision not to increase the cost of our products. We understood that we are in the necessity field and women and young girls deserve to have a healthier product that’s affordable. We stayed the course and God blessed us in return.
