Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Demia Avery. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Demia, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
One of the reasons that I started “The Demia Avery Show” is to encourage those who have gotten up there in age that you can still go after your dreams. Age does not define you!
Demia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the lessons that I had to un-learn is letting go of complete control. I am so used to grinding, used to being on timelines, trying to be perfect at every turn. That has led to exhaustion and anxiety. I am learning to trust God and the process and let him have control.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivot is the name of the game! In the entertainment business things constantly change, and you have to be willing to change with it. When certain things don’t work one way, you have to learn to shift or bend a little to get the results you want or need.
