Demetrius, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I became interested in becoming an Architect at the age of eventeen. Later
at the age of thirty five I developed a desire to start painting. The two pursuits developed and continued simultaneously. These last 15 years I’m mostly preoccupied with creating and showing my paintings.
Demetrius, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I create art/paintings. Showing my work in art galleries, art spaces and social media (Instagram).
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The thinking and introspection in the process of making art is very rewarding.
Having an audience that likes and follows my work is valuable and emotionally fulfilling.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I have not been involved in creating, exchanging, selling my work in the firm of NFT, although there has been no lack of interest and inquiries.
I understand that currently the value and interest in NFT’s has diminished considerably. The quality of what I have seen of NFT’s I would describe as poor, bad, kitsch “art”.
