Alright, Delia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea?

GOING FROM IDEA TO EXECUTION:

My brain is always going and my wheels are turning. My first love came from feeling the freedom of becoming a business owner. I got my first taste at the age of 24. I co-owned an agency that employed as many as 750 employees. I helped in human resources, leading teams, and sales. As a business owner you wear all types of hats.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

ABOUT ME

Through a breaking point in my life AKA DIVORCE! I decided to reinvent myself and I decided to enroll in design school. My passion was always in interior design. I opened a design firm called Le Monarch Designs along with an online drop shipping store that was part of the firm.
From the early age of 5, years old. I loved textures, buildings, colors. I had a unique eye for these types of details and my heart would beat for this.
I have been fortunate enough to design commercial projects including hotel spas, law firms, as well as private residential multi million dollar properties, personal projects, Airbnb’s and so on.

How’d you meet your business partner?

CO-FOUNDER ORIGIN STORY

Gaining confidence in my ability to take an idea and bring it to fruition I was called to explore ways to help others. From achieving success in business overcoming a challenging divorce and then faced with a global pandemic in 2020 an idea to to launch a relationship podcast to help women facing difficulties in their relationship was born. You Deserve Fresh Lettuce was inspired by the idea that women truly deserve the best even down to the lettuce. I reached out to my dear friend Rachel Medina who host’s the Rachel Unpacked podcast, where we formulated fun topics like divorce, dating and faith. Today the You Deserve Fresh Lettuce podcast is worldwide along with platforms including, IheartRadio, Spotify, Amazon’s Alexa, Pandora and youtube.
