For me, success is about persistence, adaptability, and spotting opportunities where others see problems. When I started CBD Movers, a major client backed out at the last minute. Instead of panicking, I shifted focus to smaller but steady jobs. That decision kept us afloat and eventually helped us scale.

More than anything, success comes down to investing in people, a strong team, great customer service, and a mindset that’s always looking forward.

I’m Deepak Mandy, founder and CEO of CBD Movers. We started with a simple goal of making moves stress-free. Now, we are a global brand, helping families and businesses relocate smoothly.

We focus on efficiency, affordability, and reliability, using smart logistics to get the job done right. What sets us apart is our customer-first approach and moving isn’t just about furniture, it’s about helping people transition into new beginnings.

Outside of CBD Movers, I have a side venture in real estate investments. You can call it a hobby, it’s completely independent but aligns with my vision of long-term financial growth. I started small, built my portfolio strategically, and now it’s a key part of my investment strategy.

Taking CBD Movers to the UK was a real struggle! We didn’t realise how tricky the regulations were at first, but we didn’t give up, we learned, brought in local pros, and found our way. Now, we are trusted and growing.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

Real estate started as a side hustle, and while it’s now a major part of my financial strategy, CBD Movers remains my core business.

I bought my first property, learned the market, and reinvested wisely. Over time, I expanded into commercial properties.
Key milestones? First investment, scaling up, and shifting into strategic assets.
