We were lucky to catch up with Deepa Verma recently and have shared our conversation below.
Deepa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you get your first job in the field that you practice in today?
Synergistiq Wellness is a rebirth of my soul, a fire created from the ashes of loss and destruction, where obstacles became stepping stones. Synergistiq is a medical wellness practice started over a decade ago, long before biohacking and longevity became current buzzwords, Dr Verma loves to spread the wealth of health while helping people to create the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.
Deepa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a traditionally trained MD, here in America. As a 1st generation American born Indian, I bring value to the current healthcare system by going back to arguably the world’ most ancient and intricate medicine, Ayurveda. My social media presence and videos captivate the audience in an easy to understand format so people can relate and implement what I talk about into their life. Synergistiq Wellness has 2 locations in Tampa Bay while seeing over 50% of patients around the country and even in other parts of the world. The global reach of wellness and longevity is here to stay. People want to thrive, not just survive
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Losing my father and going through a divorce with 3 little boys would be looked at as a tragedy, but I turned it into triumph. This is how Synergistiq was born. A phoenix rising from the ashes. When you look at life with a positive attitude, the universe recognizes that and allows you to manifest your dreams.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Having the innate nature of healing and being an empath is critical in what I do. You cannot learn it. You are born with it. I am not interested in competing with others, simply because I want to see others win too. No room for jealousy or envy or greed. That type of mentality will only hurt you.
