We were lucky to catch up with Deb Levine recently and have shared our conversation below.
Deb, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Being a Medium is not just what I do; it’s an intrinsic part of who I am. My mentor, John Johnson, “The Natural Medium,” often said, “Mediumship is life, and life is Mediumship.” This resonates deeply with me because, as a Medium, I connect with the soul. To truly touch the hearts of my clients and their loved ones in Spirit, I’ve had to embark on a journey of self-discovery and truth.
This work is personal because I’ve dedicated over two decades to self-development, which allows me to guide my clients in uncovering their own deepest truths. It’s a privilege to help others navigate their journeys and connect with the essence of who they are.

Deb, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
After years of living with anxiety and an adult ADHD diagnosis, I turned to meditation to calm my busy, chaotic mind. Through this practice, I discovered that the noise in my head had been blocking my intuitive and Mediumistic abilities, which I had sensed since childhood but hadn’t fully embraced. As I learned to quiet my thoughts, I began to accept and develop my awareness of the energy around me—both from the living and those in Spirit.
As a Medium, my calling is to serve the Spirit World first, delivering hopeful and healing messages to you, their loved one. When I work intuitively, I connect my energy to yours, allowing me to feel your present state and identify any struggles that may be holding you back from living fully. My hope is that our session acts as a catalyst for change, inspiring you to explore your own Soul Wisdom and embark on a healing journey aligned with your highest purpose.
I am truly inspired and honored to work with individuals and groups, tapping into the energy of the Soul to reflect deeper aspects of the Self that reside in the subconscious. My goal is to bring forth messages of love and support from the Spirit World, facilitating empowerment, transformation, and profound healing.
I don’t aim to tell someone their truth; instead, I serve as a supportive mirror on their journey, empowering them to discover their own truest expression.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
In the spiritual field, especially as a Medium, I often encounter skepticism and judgment about the work I do. Many people need to experience this connection firsthand to truly understand its transformative potential.
At one particular group event where I was demonstrating Mediumship, I learned shortly before starting that one of the attendees was a “true skeptic” regarding Spirit communication. I always approach such situations with respect, understanding that skepticism often stems from a lack of personal experience.
During the demonstration, I connected with the first spirit, who happened to be this skeptic’s sister. The details she shared were so specific that they could not have been known or researched. Witnessing his emotional response—seeing him brought to tears—was incredibly moving. In that moment, he shifted from skeptic to believer, realizing that his sister was still with him.
After the session, he approached me, visibly shaken and still in disbelief. He told me I had changed his life that night, affirming that he felt his sister’s presence. He even asked for a hug.
Instead of allowing his skepticism to affect my nerves, I embraced it as curiosity. I viewed this as an opportunity to demonstrate that the intangible can be felt and experienced in a profound way, proving its reality.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
As a stay-at-home mom of two, I reached a turning point when I could no longer ignore my mediumistic and intuitive gifts. This led me on an in-depth self-development journey to embrace my mediumship, but sharing this new path with family and friends was challenging. Announcing that I was communicating with the deceased and reading people psychically was met with mixed reactions, and not everyone welcomed this shift.
I had to cultivate a deep sense of comfort and security in my truth, allowing me to rise above the opinions of those close to me. The journey wasn’t easy; mediumship isn’t often seen as “normal” or “mainstream,” and I felt that shift deeply. Transitioning from a stay-at-home mom to an entrepreneur in such a niche spiritual field was significant, but I gradually embraced it. I was driven by a passion for serving Spirit and helping others on their journeys of self-discovery and healing.
