Hi DeAndre, thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think it takes perseverance, a strong minded person who can adapt to change, failure, times get tough but can you overcome the change? I think things like that say a lot about the person you are
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am DeAndre Felton AKA KØnShØuS, I’m 19 and I make art in the form of music! It comes from my very own heart and I got into the profession from expressing my feelings in very unique ways on beats until I started recording. The types of problems I solve for people are giving them an outlet with my words and how I use them I feel like the amount times I’ve been told hey I have this song on repeat before I go to work is amazing! People dread going to work so playing something that pumps you to get the job done and it being my song feels great! What I think sets me apart from most is I’m not pretending to be a something or someone I’m not just being yourself gets you in most doors. One thing I’m most proud of is myself for pushing through all the obstacles my life has thrown at me I think finding strength is very important but how you find it is just as important! One thing I want fans to know is OCTOBER 9th I got some new tunes for y’all!! Never give up on something you love if your truly love it. Peace!
Have you ever had to pivot?
The music business can be a very scammy industry ive been scammed out of $1300 but you live to learn and persevere.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’ve been laughed at joked upon and told I was trash but if I listened to them people I would be where they are in life… take people opinions with a grain of salt a lot these people are jealous your doing something they never had the courage to.
