We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
We were working a property within Nashville and the zoning was not what he thought it was. We had developer we were working with and we had to figure out if the zoning was grandfathered into the current one. After extensive research from the city we were notified that the zoning was not grandfather. Our team missed out on a large sum payout due to that issue. What we learned was always do your research and learn from your past mistakes.
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
Initially my business started out as a side hustle and quickly turned into a massive business for my family. We work with land developers and apartment builders. One of our key milestones were helping a family friend with a $20M development project this took 4 months!
