We were lucky to catch up with Dayshun Jones recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dayshun, thanks for joining us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
I believe as a business owner the thought of what could be and what IS never leaves our mind yet depending on how things are executed it can determine if your business ideas become a fail or a success. I often think about the times where I had no business and nothing to go so hard for besides my family and even though I have up days the days that cause my investments to make no sense are the days that stood out more for me but what I’ve learned is that if you look at where you started and where you’ve come from the rode will seem less difficult and you have every opportunity to change the routes if need be. I’ve changed my routes often but what remains is my determination and FAITH and that’s all the fuel I need.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
DaJuice Podcast was created for the men and women who maybe never allowed their voice to be heard. It gives me the freedom to be me and give my audience a glimpse at topics they may deal with each and everyday but don’t know how or what to do to fix them. Dajuice is not about gossip news or entertainment only it’s also to gain knowledge so I try to make sure to entertain and also give FACTS! I hope that by becoming a subscriber my audience/framily can see a part of themselves or issues they have faced also
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
For me networking and word of mouth have connected me to so many people and businesses. I do believe in social media however after creating an IG with over 1000 followers and having Instagram delete the business page without warning or good cause it allowed me to start using my other resources and not depend so much on social media outlets.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Every now and then I like to reach out to my clients via email! Let them know the latest news and update them on what’s to come. I believe that this allows your audience to see the dedication you have to your brand.
