We recently connected with Dayne Allen and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dayne, thanks for joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
Being born into a life with parents who really prepared before hand to have a family of three kids. Supporting us financially and some of our life choices, for one me finding a passion in doing video and filming with a camera for fun. Little did I know sharing my fun videos on social media would turn into multiple gigs new connections and music videos.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My Dad being a film maker himself, introduced me to his camera equipment to me at a young age, I caught on pretty quick using a camera and editing software on his computer. If it wasn’t for my Dad sharing what he loved, I don’t know where I would be. I’ve enjoyed my time connecting with musicians, those are the really fun projects and most creative, I can really explore openly with the artist and land on something they’ll love to see. And occasionally a wedding shoot will pop up through word of mouth, those are a fun challenges, I’ve never learned more than filming a wedding. As an up and coming videographer I really try to pursue cinematic stunning visuals through handheld video work, landscape or portrait. Every step of the way has been a learning moment for me. Even if it is my 2oth music video shoot, every experience is different and shares new challenges. the fact that every video shoot is different from the other really keeps me chasing that new experience, fueling my passion.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The fact of creating something from literal scratch and making it look good in one way or another, blows my mind everytime. I get to look back on what I’ve created over long hours of editing and wow myself. It’s a satisfying feeling you only get when you work hard on a project you really feel passionate about and getting to walk away feeling accomplished at the end result.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mind is always running wild with visuals, always from a young age, filming has been a healthy outlet for me, even sharing my art style and getting a reaction from others.
