Daynagirl, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?

I manage my own social networks, since I was 15 years old I realized that I really liked learning about computing, I took several courses such as coding, programming, web design, editing, software development, and one day I decided to start publishing videos. . on YouTube in 2017 with my eldest daughter has been a very difficult road.

I used to work as a waitress in a hotel in the mornings; this hotel is near the airport. There were people from all over the world every day and one day I met a couple who came from Spain and they asked me what else I did apart from working in the restaurant; I told them that in the mornings I worked as a waitress and that the rest of the day I spent with my family and took some online courses since I really like learning about social networks and technology, they told me a little about their lives that in addition to working in their jobs that required traveling and being at conferences for the most part. At that time, they had a YouTube channel in case something happened to their work, so they would have another source of income at the time when they were not earning much, but, in the future, it would be more. From there came the idea to start publishing on YouTube in October 2017 with the channel called Dyanagirlworld.
It was not until September 2022 that I left the restaurant to dedicate myself fully to being a creator and influencer.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

It has been a very long and very difficult road since being an influencer/creator is not an easy job. It requires a lot of dedication, help, and, above all, patience, and it is even more difficult when there are children involved in the content since they get tired very quickly. And they have school. One of my greatest supporters has been my oldest daughter since after a long day of school, she is sometimes tired and has a lot of homework, but she still helps me take the videos or photos, even when she is not feeling well because she has a cold. Or she simply doesn’t feel like talking in front of the camera because she is tired; even so, she is always there to help me, now not only my eldest daughter is also my youngest daughter and sometimes my partner.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I think the most important thing to build an audience is to first know the platform and start with what you know, share valuable content, and interact with your audience.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect is the feeling of knowing that we are capable of doing many things but we don’t know it until we dare to do them, and then I ask myself and I did this.
