We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dawn Gregory a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Dawn, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
The legacy that I am building lies within each and every words that is written. Every story that is tol. Every piece of poetry and affirmations that are written. And every book that is published.
My mission statement is – I am here to help people speak love and live their truth.
That mission statement is all me and I hope that when I have passed to the next phase of life that people can reflect back to the words that have been written to being my authentic truth from the spiritual messages within me.
I will be remembered for kindness for love and life. For living life fully for being open to the full life experience. I will be known as a prolific author poet. That is universally loved by all.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Dawn Gregory and by having a NDE I began to walk wi rh in the journey of inner self. Several parts of me were enhanced and the main part was my brain and the inner wisdom and words that I have been given. What sets me apart from many is I know who I am and the reason for my existence here upon this earth. That was something my grandmother worked with me on as a young child she saw something within me. The NDE unlocked a space within my mind that allowed me to tap into the inner higher voice that spoke to me and encouraged me to write and to sharing this gift with rh e world. To some they may not believe to me it is truly life for me to sharing my purpose with others in such a creative way.
I am most proud of me being fearless of having an authentic voice and not being afraid to speak it no matter how unusual it can be. I am open to the unknowns of life worhin the spiritual world moon starts sun.
One thing that we must always remember that although we are human beings we are all very different outside of the physical norm. We are also different in thoughts in creativity within voice and that is ok.foe me embracing my different way of loving. My brand is the mission statement it is the love of self the love of others loving life. My brand is simplicity within the beauty of life. To have poetry and affirmations that we can hold onto dear and to share with family. I like to say that the in set spirit and I write together as I the vessel that it flows through. I am given the worlds intuitively and I will continue to write and make the human experience about the full experience as an individual and as human beings.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building an audience has been very interesting overall. I initially began to question if people would want to read or embrace what I am posting.
But I then thought about of being authentic being me and allowing them to gravitate to the words and embrace it and apply to their lives.
My advice is truly to be you and being authentic to the message that you want to share with the world.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
The first part of my resilience is the continued embracing, writing and posting. Writing every single day is a practice that I have had since a child. Writing everyday are moments within life that words will flow through me.
Writing everyday is me releasing nY my inner voice. And it shows the love of writing and words.
