Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dawn Battle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Dawn , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing I would have to choose that anyone has done was when my best friend chose my mental health over partying for his birthday. My dad passed March 2020 and I threw myself into work and didn’t really grieve. I would randomly breakdown when I was alone because I miss my dad so much. So, one day my best friend asked me about my dad and my ex who passed. He realized that I never really dealt with their deaths. He would offer to go with me to their graves to release my emotions and grieve. I would always tell him no because honestly I didn’t want to accept that they are gone. I was planning a fun filled day for my best friend birthday May 2023 and asked him what he wanted to do. He said take you to see your dad. I was like it’s your birthday and it’s supposed to be about you. In that moment I realized my best friend was selfless and really cared about me and my well being.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As I wear many hats from A life coach, Behavior Tech, Podcaster, Author, and etc. I’ve lately been focusing on being an Author poetry is my passion. I write poetry often but to combine it with my writing and presenting it to the world. It means the world to me and to see how many people that can relate to me is an amazing feeling. If I help one person then I feel like I have done something helpful in this world. I also provide custom poetry. To my potential followers and clients know I appreciate feedback and constructive criticism. It helps me understand my weaknesses and strengths and help me make adjustments to perfect my craft.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to give people hope. No matter all life pressures that are weighing on you know that you can get through anything with God. My faith is what keeps me going and it’s my inspiration that keeps me creative.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
The way I built my audience on social media was sharing my podcast on my platforms. On my podcast I thank my listeners and ask them to like, share, and subscribe to my podcast. I also, gave them my social media information and my email address. I would love to hear feedback from them and what are some topics they would like for me to discuss on my podcast. I have always been an open book. My audience can relate to me and that’s what you want in an audience. When your audience can relate they will like, share, and subscribe.
