Davion, appreciate you joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
Yes, I currently make a full-time living from my creative work, but that was not always the case. Straight out of university, after completing my BA in Digital Media Production, I started working at a marketing agency as a Multimedia Designer. This is where my professional growth started. The more I learned the more I wanted to put my own creative foot forward – this neverending yearning led to Frsh Creative being born. That is not to say the fear of failure has never crossed my mind.
One major step I can pinpoint is spending the time to learn how to be a business and not just a creative. Now, on the topic of speeding up the process, there is no speeding up the process. Like everyone, I needed that time to learn the business and develop myself and the brand Frsh Creative.
Davion, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am the Owner and Creative Director of Frsh Creative, We provide creative solutions in video production, photography, graphic design, and creative direction. We pride ourselves on partnering with brands to create innovative, impactful, and high-quality content.
After being in the field for over 8 years, I can honestly say I am proud of all my partnerships.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission is to build a sustainable brand in the creative industry and in return be able to teach others.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
While social media definitely has its advantages, word of mouth is one of our top sources of new clients.
