Hi David, thanks for joining us today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?
I feel like if anybody as a business owner should be happy doing what they do cause at the end of the day it’s all about satisfying the customer, that’s what builds your business.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started out cleaning my own shoes and honestly my career took off from there. I started watching YouTube videos to learn more and other products to use. I clean, restore and customize sneakers I also do canvas art from time to time. Products that I use normally I try to use any type of popular cleaning products as far as painting I use top quality products. I want potential clients, followers and fans to know that I strive to be the best artist I can be.
Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
I started cleaning and customizing shoes for my friend and used social media to show off my work and my fan base grew from there. I advertised my logo on shirts and hoodies to gain more clients.
We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I try to put out as post on social media to see if I gain more clients some of my original clients always reach out to me when they need something done. Same as when I put out more merchandise.
